Welcome to the bookroom. As my mother would say, a retired school teacher “When you know better, you do better!” Our book room may be small, but it is jam packed with the latest, current and popular titles all by African-American authors to stimulate minds of all ages to do better. All priced at up to 50% off the cover price.

You would not believe that when we started selling books at Body and Soul we had one moveable rack. And we are proud to say that we went from a rack of books to a room! And they say African Americans don’t read. I would say, quite the opposite. We are ferocious readers, if we like the literature.

At Body and Soul we offer a great selection of Fiction, Non-fiction, Children’s, Young Adult, Christian, Health, Cookbooks and so much more. We supply books to book clubs, churches, teachers and incarcerated loved ones. Our books are so hot we even supply books to the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Public Library system.
